I hope it passes this year or at least 2010, I can't get a job I need to help because my pops is getting old. So looks Like I'm going to be working all my life to help my family especially in this economic disaster. I am really feeling the squeeze right now.

if this year/ next year don't pass Dream Act, i think there is not high hope on that bill. because everything will change, maybe not 59:40 seats anymore.... Dream Act 2009 may delay to Dream Act 2011/ 2012

There will always be hope. Democrats will again take majority.

We are lucky that Obama is pushing this Reform this year. It use to be the # priority and we have had this bill on the floor as soon as he took office but we are not in a Great Recession. Things have changed.

I understand you about wanting to go back to Scotland, this is it for me as well. If nothing happens this year, than I am out of here for good and I will not be looking back. I know that some of you are in your 20's and still waiting, I have no idea how you do it.

I am on the fence about moving to scotland and this thread would help me decide b/c i cant wait till 2011 and even 2010 would be a bit difficult. So what do u all think?
Most and majority of articles that say it will be done in 2011 or have a better chance in 2011 are conservatives.

This is mainly their strategy to try to force the issue in those years. They know that it will ( at least have a really good chance) to pass this year. In 2011, Democrats might lose few seats here and there ( just a possibility) and that is what they are aiming for.

So if it can not pass in 2009/2010, then It will not pass in 2011.

At the most I think at the end of Spring of 2010.
