I was wondering is there any good/safe way to travel around the US while undocumented?

Traveling in a car with someone who has a valid DL is your best bet.

Well, I guess there really isn't. I suppose I will figure something out.

I did think about carrying a backpack with supplies while I jogged to my destination, but I think I would draw attention to myself, and get deported anyway.

I agree, getting someone who has a valid DL is your best bet. Either that or public transportation, if the place where you live has it.

Hey, I've traveled on planes inside the country and all I had to do was show my High School ID. Although I was traveling with other friends I don't see why you can't go by yourself and show them that. If you meant traveling around town then I'd go with all the other options. Remember, cops shouldn't stop you unless you're doing something suspicious so don't hang out with friends who drink and drive and never walk home drunk. Call a cab
hope i helped

It also helps not to ride around in cars that draw attention.

What about a Driving Privilege card? It's still valid to drive around with, but, you know, it pretty much says you're undocumented. Would it be safe to drive from one state to another with that?

Actually police can make a "Terry Stop" whenever they want. If they have gotten a call about anything suspicious in the area especially in the evening, they will stop you ask you a couple of questions and for ID, just to cover their bases. And always tell them the truth. You don't have to tell them you're undocumented while still telling them the truth. If they ask why you're walking, tell them you don't drive. If they ask why you're only showing them your college ID, tell them you haven't gotten around to getting a license yet. If you start making stuff up, they will catch you in a lie, and then they will find you suspicious and run you through their database.

I have gotten stopped like this a few times walking home at night, and if you answer questions fairly politely the cop won't bother you unless he's a real asshole. Then things are really out of your hands.
