Hi!

I have a quick question, I'm a junior going on senior this year and was wondering if there is any scholarships that I can actually receive. I came here legally but have no documents whatsoever.

I don't think I'll go to a major college but rather a small but very popular one. I live in a huge Hispanic community and that might help but if there's any scholarships info or companies that hand out scholarships regadless of status that would be awesome and extremely helpful. I hope I'm not too late and thanks to all of you.

there are private scholarships for students like you everywhere, all you have to do is look. Search for private programs and webpages like fastweb.com. look for the SALEF Foundation scholarship Fund if you are a volunteer worker in anything, you'll be able to apply.

^^^ Indeed. I've seen and heard from some of the members. They do some amazing work for DREAMie's like us! I suggest you look into it. It's not often you come across a group that creates such positivity.

Also, don't be scared of applying for scholarships. Keep your grades up! I left high school with a ridiculous amount of scholarship money and I'm confident you can too! If you don't have a job, then you have plenty of time to research and apply to every single scholarship that applies to you. It's all about organization and managing your time between your regular school work and scholarship applications. It can totally be done. Good luck!

They have quite a few at the DreamActivist website (www.dreamactivist.org).

Here's this one:

BTW, if anyone finds a scholarship targeted specifically for student in Arizona, please forward it to me. I'm looking for one myself.
