Everyone on this site that has either done, supported, encouraged, or in any way has done anything to move the Dream Act forward, i want to say that I am so proud to be amongst you. To read all the encouraging comments that everyone gives each other seriously makes me GLAD to be a part of this group. Although hard and sometimes angry at this situation, i think that it has matured us, made us grow, made us appreciate what we do have. Who knows if the decisions we have made so far would have been made if we had been, say, born in the US? Perhaps not. The drive that we have may come from the fact that they want to DENY it to us.

I finished grad school and right now I am doing my own part to get support for the Dream Act. Last week I went to high school graduations and got about 100 signatures from students. I am going to send a copy to senators that oppose the Dream Act, but I also want to sent the signatures to the people who have worked to even get the Dream Act to where it is now. Those who introduced the bill and those who support - I want to say THANK YOU to them as well.

Keep your chins up everyone!!

Thank you, its always good to look around and appreciate what we have and how lucky we are to have it, life's too short to live blinded

Well let us never forget when this finally goes through where we came from, and how much it took to get us there and allow us to give our children and those around us a better life and appreciation for their world, we were in some ways cursed with a situation, but blessed with a knowledge, free from an ignorance that everyone in this country does enjoy the freedoms that many take for granted, free from the ignorance in believing that things do work out fine if you just ignore it, free from the ignorance of letting rhetoric and diction cover up injustices, we know how we have to fight back for our rights, also how we shouldnt be content as long as there are people who are oppressed just because those people are not us.

we know that injustice can go so easily covered up, especially with words like "national security" and "economic security" used as a justification for it, we know how easy it is to live in a place where things seem to look fine and dandy and under the surface there is a subclass that doesnt see the world the same way.

let this be a wakeup call for all of us to never overlook something just because it looks ok on the outside, even after all of this i hope to continue to fight injustices like this because i know what it is like to be one.

we know the price of freedom for many of us it has been the sacrifices we had to do, the fact that we had to differ our dreams, deny those dream colleges, those dream goals, those jobs that we worked so hard to achieve, the fact that we had to accommodate our lives to carry this, the fact that we had to change the way we lived, we were denied our rights, our ability to drive, our freedom from oppression and fear from every day life, just because of something that in many cases we had no control over and yet our patriotism and our hope is stronger then ever. Despite all this i love this country, not just because its the only one i know, but because i know that a group of us can make a difference and change it, maybe its a little bit slow (major understatement) but when it finally does pass we'll show how great this country is, we are the country, these are the ideals in place, in a way we are the new revolutionary class, if you've ever wondered what it would feel like to be like the founding fathers working together to gain their freedom in america, what its like for the civil rights movement to finally triumph, what it this is it was like for russia to overthrow its oppressive soviet leadership, this is it, our cause is just, our cause is freedom

very few times in peoples lives do they really get a chance to be in this kind of situation in which a vanguard group, a group that against all odds challenges their mistreatment and vows to fight for their freedom, and im proud to be among some of the best

but we got a lot to go, lets keep the pressure on em, our freedom is near!

Thanks for everyone whose helped us out! maybe its not my time to say it yet, this is far from over, but its always good to tell how much we appreciate peoples efforts
