^lol

how exactly do u guys think u can get permanent residency by marrying a citizen? it just sounds too easy to be true i think.

lot of u mentioned spain. but i read that spain and italy make u fill out a horrendous stack of paper work for permanent residency. if u're thinking about europe, uk is probably the best bet because they use ENGLISH. uk somehow seems to be more comfortable for immigrants than the xenophobic southern europe.

i think, it's better to think about how we can support dream act, not how to abandon it (it feels like this). the very least we can do is probably convincing our family and friends who are citizens to call their senators.

I've been seriously thinking about this lately and I have thought up of a half-assed plan.

First, if I'm going to finish my undergraduate studies and try to start a career however possible. If that fails miserably, I'll begin to drink heavily and become a vagrant. I will travel city to city until I get to the east coast(I live in Los Angeles). There, I will execute acts of civil disobedience until I get thrown in jail and handed over to ICE. They will probably ship me down to Arizona in one of those middle-of-nowhere in the desert prisons where they hold people that get caught trying to border hop. In jail, I will read and interpret the Aztec and Mayan codices to find its secret message for the future cosmic race(la raza cosmica). Once deported to Mexico, my teachings will make me an underground sensation amongst the privileged elite. I'll then use my popularity to seduce one of them sexy mamis, and marry into a prominent family who will use their connections to adjust my status in the United States and I'll also make them pay my way through Harvard Law School so I could become an evil and corrupt politician.

Eh, maybe not so half-assed.
