Hey,

I just graduated from Cal Poly Pomona, my major was psychology....the cost for attending was'nt too bad it was like a thousand and some change... and I paid it in two payments which lightened the load....there are lots of options for housing... I commuted so i dont really know that much about it....only concern for you would be the recent budget cuts have really affected the university and the selection of classes offered might become very limited...other than that it's a great school to attend.... if you have anymore questions feel free to ask and i'll try to answer them the best I can...

I am going to start Cal Poly Pomona this fall. Tuition just got raised to 4,200 or something like that so its not that bad. Its a great school. I am double majoring in Philosophy and Psychology. I am also commuting although am currently looking to room with some friends in an apartment nearby.

Try to do as well as you can in your classes. Ask the Psych department if they give out scholarships. Most department specific scholarships are given without consideration of one's legal status. Congrats and good luck with your education.
