Canada and Australia are good options for backups if you qualify. Australia has a very lenient requirement.

I'll finish up my PhD in the U.S. Then, my fiance will petition for me once we are married. If all fails, I will head to Canada. I'm sure Canada won't mind having two extra people with PhD's. If that does not work, I will try Europe.

I don't think I could go back to Mexico. About 10 years ago, I left to Mexico for about 1 month, and I realized that I could not live there. I was really home sick the 4th week there. I even missed going to my local seven eleven for my daily caffeine fix.

Why do you seem so down on Mexico, if I may ask. What part of Mexico was it??

I'm sorry if it seems like I am looking down on Mexico, as that is not my intention. I meant to express that Mexico is not my cup of tea. I "personally" would not like to live in any other part of the world other than in the U.S. or Canada.

I was born in a really cool place, Leon Guanajuato Mexico.

It is simple. If it does not pass, American and Obama Administration
will lose big assets. We are one of the biggest assets to America,
we have so much potential, with these hardships we are facing,
we are stronger, smarter, and tougher than regular citizens
who may be sitting on their fat-ass (excuse my language) and
collect their welfare checks. If it does not pass, most of us,
with great potentials and hard-work mentality will return to
our own countries and end up successful, a significant loss
in America's view. I myself have a huge dream and plans, and
I never limit myself where to open my battle chest and build my
empire. It could be in New York or it could be in Dubai.
I do know Mr.President wants to raise next generation thinkers
and scientists, I don't see any reason why he should not pass this.
