I know there are already topics regarding flying on an airplane around this forum.. but I have a couple of more questions.

If my knowledge is correct.. people who are 18 and over need to show identification when flying.. is that correct?

well I'm 17 years old, but it is possible that the airport could think i'm 18. If they thought i was 18 and asked for identification.. what would i do?

all replies are greatly appreciated.. and if anyone had a similar experience (flying on airplane for domestic flights as a minor) please share. thank you!

call TSA: 18662899673. they wont ask you anything, and they'll be able to answer you. it's not dangerous to call and ask. Im 20, illegal and I travel from MIami to dallas using my colombian passport that i got when my parents were applying for legal residency.

I'm pretty sure they will accept it. You're not required an ID as a minor, but I guess that would prove that you're in high school, which usually means you're under 18.

Call TSA if you'd like, or you can call your airline, just to make sure.
