I just want to know if it is possible to get a state id, without a ssn?

most states you won't be able to, but check the requirements that your state requires to show to get the state id.

some states dont even allow one with an SSN...you usually need a valid form of identification...such as a US birth certificate, US passport, permanent resident etc...
