BREAKING NEWS: "Papers" will premiere Sept. 26 in Portland, Oregon and screen across the country starting in October! PLEASE go watch it spread the word. For more information go to www.papersthemovie.com
*Remember* this is a way to get our story out there and to promote a solution to our problem. Keep spreading the dream act!! Yo can also follow new information of the movie on http://twitter.com/papersthemovie

ABOUT PAPERS
Papers is the story of undocumented youth and the challenges they face as they turn 18 without legal status. Currently there are more than 1.8 million undocumented children who were born outside the U.S. and raised in this country. 65,000 undocumented students`graduate every year from high school without "papers" and find the door to the future slammed shut. In most cases, it is against the law for them to go to college, work or drive. Yet they have no path to citizenship.

These are young people who were educated in American schools, hold American values, know only the U.S. as home and who, simply by virtue of turning 18, become "illegal" immigrants. Papers is a moving story about coming of age, a human eye on the current immigration debate and a look at how the long-time custom of scape-goating continues to haunt America.

Graham Street Productions is producing this film in partnership with Film Action Oregon. We are working in collaboration with the youth who want to tell their stories and community organizations around the country who are working to change immigration policy on behalf of these young people. Youth are actively involved in all aspects of the production.

Nice. This will help spread the word about the Dream Act and help people understand and see the issue from our point of view.

The preview is super cheesy, yet its so real, so powerful that suddenly I got the chills. We need something like this to get across the country, educate people, let them know what is REALLY going on.

I see something big coming, this country, this world cannot continue with its ways, need need change.
