I gotta agree with questionsihave

Look on the bright side... he said they'll start working on it this year and that it'll get priority attention next year

As long as they get health care reform passed and don't mess up too badly, we should be fine

Here's to an early 2010 start!

I've avoided saying this, but some people are a little quick to overreact to any bit of perceived bad news. It gets a little ridiculous sometimes.
I like you

Real nice Mr. President. Thank you. I would like to see a dreamie get to ask him "What about the Dream Act? Another class of students will graduate? You said you thought it could be passed immediately, before CIR" and then hear him say, "I'm sorry, but you're gonna have to wait another year. I know your life has been on hold for a while, but you're gonna have to hold on some more, you're not the prioritie."

How friggen hard can it be to pass it as a stand-alone bill?

He did say that but he also said the economy and health care would come first

To be honest I never did believe him when he said he would discuss it within the 100 days

I feel you though

Honestly, I know he hinted this before, but this just shattered my hope man.
I really thought something would have happened before the end of the year.
I don't recall ever being this pissed due to a comment about immigration.

How can someone straight-up lie to the face of people whose lives depend on that very action he's lying about? I'm starting to understand what older people use to say about most politicians.

Meanwhile, he goes for tougher enforcement and more deportations. I guess the plan is to pray you don't get caught until it happens, if it happens at all.

14 million friggen people. I love this country man, I wanna be here. It hurts.
Sorry for the posting spree, I really need to vent though.

Is Dream Act included in this "immigration overhaul"?
