Isn't There Anything We Can Do To Make Our Voices Heard Out There?? Can't We Put All Of Our Minds Together To Do Some Type Of Rally Outside Of Washington Or Something. I Know Some Of You Have Graduated From College And Some Of Your Are Starting So I Know You Are All Bright Kids. Lets Think Of Something. Can't We Meet Somewhere?? Talk Face To Face ...if We Alllllll Get Together And Get The Congressmen Who Are Backing Us Up To Rally With Us As Well As All The Other Supporters...can't We At Least Make Ourselves Known A Lot More So That They Can Actually See That Its Know Only The Gomez Brothers Or Those Few Kids Whose Story Is Known But There Is Millions Of Us Ready To Give Something Good To This Country. We Have To Do Something..we Need To Put Up Fight And Push For This To Happen...because If We Wait Now We Might Have To Wait Again For Another 4 Years....

The movement itself has done stuff like that... like the recent mock graduation in Washington DC. I am starting to believe that that kind of stuff is not really working... we need US citizen allies into this to get a real voice.

To draw a parallel, the former slavery institution was destroyed not by the slaves but with their allies.

If possible, meaning when it poses no threat to you, let people know about your story. I went to this feminist meeting at the Huntington Library in Pasadena California about a year ago. There was a lunch after the teach in. The older ladies were really happy that I, a young man, was there to hear out there efforts. Eventually they started asking me what I wanted to do in life. I told them my story and they were blown away. They had never met an educated undocumented immigrant. They had the conception that most of us were here to collect welfare. I explained that we didn't qualify for welfare and so forth. They left there with a new concept and image of undocumented immigrants. Informing citizens, befriending them, and improving ourselves is key to helping our movement.

I agree too, but can't we go on MTV and tell our stories and informed everyone at once and should we ALL get organized so that there is a group of us in EVERY state informing the community about our situation and getting their support. I mean litterly knocking on ALL DOORS whether its on a show like MTV or some other reality show..the point being to put ourselves out there even more effectively.
