Yes we do have to watch out with what we say on here. At the same time, these guys must really hate us, to sit around all day and ridicule us. Especially when they are making false accusations based on stereotypes of illegals. Im reading, the rest of their discussion, and it seems like they have us all wrong, giving irrational arguments.

It's not a surprise that they're reading through the forums. All they can do is whine and complain at their computers. That's it. Thank goodness that not every American citizen share their ideas.

Lol what a bunch of lewwsers

Hey, this works on our behalf as well. We too can do the same to them. I've actually been to numbersusa to see what all the fuzz was about and lol I've never seen such misguiding and biased info before.

I bet I probably got a few "fans" out there I've pissed off a lot of the opposition......the more the merrier though, and as for the safety issue, it ain't an issue to me, those dehumanizing bigots don't scare me.

I'm probably wrong, but I hope this isn't the Pygmallion that was being a troll here a few weeks ago (don't know if he's still around). Looks like this is contact info from the stalk-y forum.

From OP. Whether it is someone who used to be on DAP or not, anti-Dreamers can easily get an account in the site and view our threads, even if we somehow manage to "filter out" some of the site's visitors (I don't even know how that filtering would work).

Number 5 of that dude's list is funny.

I would like to see him be taken to another country when he's younger than he can remember.... find out his parents did it when he is a teenager, and have them tell him that they had to do it to escape poverty, hunger, violence, you name it... then have him wait until he turns 18 (which in his terms now turns it into his own decision), and have him leave the only place he can call home, to a place where he knows nobody, because that's the right thing to do. Leave his parents, his friends, his dreams, his family, etc... just leave it, cause now he's an adult and he should try it the right way...

then let him be banned for 10 years (which is a nice diplomatic way to say you will never be back) for doing the right thing.

It's really crazy to think how many people are seriously against us, for pretty much no reason besides ignorance. As someone else said, most of the people in our situation do excel in academics. I remember, when an anti-immigration law was being pushed in my home-town two older white women where sitting in the city hall listening to debates on the issue, and everytime a hispanic person who was against the bill they would flip them off and curse. That's the first glimpse I got of how hateful people can be, two old ladies in wheel chairs. I wonder what they must have gone through to gain such horrible views of us.

and they think the illegals are taking all the jobs. maybe if they didnt sit around finding quotes to put in their blogs they could be out there finding a job

or maybe they could even use that time to go to college!! that way they will understand the benefits of an educated population. then maybeeeeeeee they wouldnt be against something like The Dream Act which will HELP educate the youth.

i'm sure if these people lived back in the day they would be the first to want a slave, or to be against women's rights, or maybe even pro-holocaust ... ?

anyway, these people are just sad. because even an illegal young dreamer knows that at the end of the day you only have this one life and you can make the best of it. but yet these idiots are sitting there trying to find quotes (lol) trying to stop other HUMANS from living, and are so preoccupied by hate that they don't even realize that they too, only have this one life.

they are so busy trying to be against improvement of life that they will never enjoy their own. instead of sitting there trying to stop human growth and improvement, i suggest that these people focus on their own lives and try to find something that makes them happy. not angry and bitter

one more thing.. i just cannot believe this lol

i mean these people are legal u.s. citizens. they are free to do anything. they can do anything they want. they can work, go to school, travel the world and they choose to sit there and write about us???

because to be honest, if i wasn't in this situation, i probably wouldnt even know about people like us, or i probably wounldnt care. i mean care enough to take the time to write something AGAINST IT.

my god there are people dying to be free. and these people actually use that time of their freedom to sit there and write about US.

just makes me laugh!!!!!!! ok no more :X

Its almost as if they want us to stay undocumented. I mean they are actually writing against a plan to open a path where we could attain legal status.

And like Sad Girl mentioned, they are probably the kind of people that would get a slave back in the day, we are at this point the closest thing to slaves when most of the basic human rights are denied and a bad employer could take advantage of us. I mean I recall this case that was mentioned in t.v. once, about an employer that held on to his workers passports in order to force them to work, someone had to be very brave to contact media in order to cover the story so they could get their documents back revealing their identity to a national media outlet.

Personal greed is the only logical explanation that I can find at this point, it would benefit the nation financially if we are able to get better paying jobs and pay taxes on that, but right now there are people that will pay close to nothing for labor and they would lose it if we attained legal status. I mean most people against this act are crying that it would provide illegals with legal status for committing a crime and at the same time they are talking about how we should have done things correctly like other immigrants that did.

I have always been curious about that, how do other people attain legal status, I know cubans have the wet foot dry foot act which means that as soon as they touch dry land they are free, some people from other countries are here on special circumstances where a specially bad catastrophe occurred and where able to move here legally. Then there are the people that attain legal status claiming they were fleeing from a specific danger in their country that was targeting them (asylum, which fewer people are applying for because not that many are being granted anymore after 9/11), the '86 reform, that were adopted, or that they have special skills where companies will hire them for a certain amount of time, and lottery which generally seems to approve people from countries where people do not migrate here too often and has some very strict guidelines.
am I missing something?
