So I was searching through the net and other threads..and I read that you can get an affidavit from a relative to stay if they are a us citizen.so I'm already 18 and I'm wondering if my aunt (us citizen) can help me get status faster but were also waiting for our papers to get processed. And also can someone explain to me how the u-visa works?..cus I was a victim of domestic violence frm a past relationship..and I was just wondering can this be something with the u-visa?
