Can I turn in a W-7 application...

Since I don't have a SSN and I need a job. Would I be able to get a job is what I'm basically asking. If I turn this W-7 form in that is, which says that I'm eligible for an ITIN if I'm not eligible for a SSN.

That's not how it works. An ITIN is used solely for tax purposes as a means of providing certain people the opportunity to pay their taxes who otherwise wouldn't be able to because they don't qualify for a SSN. You CANNOT use an ITIN number in place of a SSN for employment purposes. I'd advise against even trying it. A W-7 is merely an application for an ITIN. In no way does that give you authorization to work in the US.
