I don't know if anyone else has caught wind of this but CNN is starting a Latino In American Series and they had a short preview last night with short interview with Eva Longoria following the preview. She spoke about a documentary or movie she's producing about famr children laborers which highlighs another aspect to how our broken immigration system is affecting young minds. Nothing was mentioned about the DREAM but she said "she has faith in this adminstration."
I'm very curious to see how this series will highlight immigration reform because I got the sense from the preview they might even dedicate a whole episode to the issue. Be on the look out guys!

I saw the first part of it today and it was good. No "Dreamie" story. However, before the show started they had a panel talking and judge Christina Perez http://www.cristinaperez.tv talked about the importance of passing the dream act.

51 million Latinos?

I watched it and it was pretty good. They also did a piece on Sheriff Arpaia (that $#%@$) I wish they would man up and call out DOBBS too (Ted Turner, the former founder of CNN, spoke out yesterday and said he would fire him if he was still in charge of CNN).

All in all I think the coverage is good. But I'm not very optimistic for the dream act or immigration reform to pass any time soon, because of the way the economy is unfolding.

People want jobs. How/Why would Washington legalize millions of people if millions more are out of a job?

I Saw the first part at 9pm eastern time, and a dreamie was the very first person on it. She came to this country at the age of 4 or 7 and now is like 26. That should make her a dreamie. Anyways they didn't mention the DREAM act. But she tried to make her case with a judge that if she were to be deported it will cause great pain to her and her family. And the judge said no.
