So I have been reading some of the older posts but I haven't found an answer. I am 16 yrs old and a senior in high school. I am planning on going to a public university next year and hopefully getting financial aid. I am undocumented but I have a legit SSN (Not Valid For Work). So as I've started to fill out forms for college I have encountered the dilemma of whether or not to use my ssn. Plus I got a temp job in the place where my sister works using my school ID since I'm 16, so will I have to file taxes and report it in the TASFA or not?
I hope my question is clear. Thanks in advance.

Actually you can get Texas state aid if you are qualified as a resident in Texas.
And for your question, I think it's better to ask your financial aid advisor at the university you are applying to.
Don't hesitate on telling them your status because more they know about you, better they can help you.

You can use your SSN on the application, but you are not eligible for financial aid, so don't fill out a FAFSA unless your school somehow gives you the option of filling out a paper FAFSA for them (not the government).

If you pay taxes on income and use your SSN, I'm pretty sure you'll eventually get deported. I'll do more research on this. In the meantime, someone who knows more about this please advise.

My parents have a S.S that states not valid for employment. My parents owned a business using that number!!! They pay taxes every year(since 2000)..have bank accounts and own several credit cards. I know manyyyyy other friends and relatives who have done the same.

If the number is legal, you should be able to use it for college application. As long as you are not "working" on that number, you should be okay.

I'd call the specific school's financial aid office and tell them whats up. They should be able to guide you through.

I have an SSN with the "Not Valid for Work" stamp on it. So if I get a ITIN, I can work?
