There is no reason for me to complain for the position I am in. The possibility of finding a job around the area of where I live is alive. The only thing of keeping me of finding a job with a simple walk down the street is me. I have a fear of working. Don't get me wrong, I have worked in the past for my uncle but even then I was struck with nerves. I also got to work with a dentist and those first two weeks into that job were just terrible. I messed up a number of times and felt so embarrassed. Although I did not work with continuity, I got the hang of the tasks at hand. So I can say with certainty its not laziness. I'm just scared. Scared of talking with someone about me not having a social security number. And lets just say that I would get past that stage and get hired, I have a fear that I am going to mess up in the workplace. Ruin the responsibility I was sent to uphold with such a infantile maneuver. That a person with my age should have no problem of doing. I always want to be very careful of what I am doing but the outcome results on my being slow. Concluding of me not reaching my boss's expectations and getting fired.

Every morning I wake up and just think of my parents and brother. Who all awaken at 5:30am Monday through Friday and out the door for work by 6:30am. While I lay on my bed thinking of what I should do. How do I make this day worthy? How do I make it righteous without letting it go to waste? A great, genuine starting step would be for me to get a job.

So if anyone has real solid advice on how I can go about my insecurities having to do in the workplace, by all means please, I am all ears.

One thing you need to understand is that any job you find you will get some sort f training. During this time you need to ask as many question that you have.We become more efficient at the workplace as time goes by. Learn from your mistakes as well.Don't be scared of being fired. As long as you do a good job at whatever you do I am sure you will be employed. Also insecurities are overcome when you "your self" does something about them. Also take it day by day.

Hey Maelo. An idea to make work less tense is to get to know your co-workers. Smile and when you are not busy working, ask something not work related or give them a compliment. This disarms people and then they will be more willing to help you out and give you the "inside" tips on how to be more work efficient. Relax! If there is a work event, most definitely GO! I get the feeling you are quiet and shy (guessing) and that going out with people from work scares you or you may not want to, but do it. You will maybe have fun and also, again, learn the "inside" ways of the job.
To end, NO ONE that you work with, besides the boss/manager will ask you about your SS#/status. Don't be afraid of that. Live life with a little less fear, take more chances, smile more and also, don't be afraid to go for a job that you think you can't do. It is ourselves that put a limit to what we can do. Growth comes from failure and in every failure we learn something. Relax, smile, and you can do it.
