I am just wondering though.

Like, say that you don't get any support from your family and you have to work to pay for your tuition, car payments, insurance fee, apartment rent etc. And what kind of work do you do to make a living?

I think most of us usually stay with our family, but I see some posts that some of their brothers or sisters already left and they are left alone here. I just wonder whether those people really make a living by themselves or their parents send money abroad.

Once DA passes, I just can't wait to make my own living instead of depending on my parents and family.

I still live at home with my mother, sister (a DA beneficiary like me) and two younger siblings (USC). My mother is very supportive, but she's undocumented, as well.

Hi Freshh, I noticed your location is Atlanta. I just recently moved to Ga and as you can see from my location I live in Lawrenceville. I wanted to know what kind of opportunities are there for people like me and you here in this semi- anti- immigrant state?

I only live with my family during the summer. During the school year I live about 3 hours away in my college town. It's fantastic. I get to do my school thing just like everyone else who is here legally. I pay for most of my things with massive scholarships and my parents chip in every now and again. I truly have it made. =]

Ditto. I was actually hoping Kerry had won the 2004 election. We'd have a wider chance of CIR passing in 2005 if that had happened.

Lets just say at 23 years, I'm able to pay for my photo studio in Hollywood and my apartment in Brentwood (recently relocated from West Hollywood) and still manage to help out my parents and have a fun social life. I'm very blessed and am very aware of it.
