Not to piss on your spiritual parade, but if you get deported because you got stopped by a cop, Is not God's will. It's a consequence of a bad choice you made. Don't have a license, you can chose to drive and accept the consequences of what happens, or you can travel to several states where you can get a license.

my biggest problem is finding a car to take the test
does the car have to be registered in washington with insurance from washington or can it be from another state?

gadreamer,

i rented a car from a driving school. basically they make you take a 1-2 hour class then they allow to use their car to take the test. it is a wa car with insurance.

i asked the dmv if the car has to be wa, and they said no. as long as you have insurance and it is not a rental car from a rental company, you will be fine.

there is more than one way to get a car in wa.

good luck!

You make a good point.. but those who drive without a drivers license is also making a choice rather good or bad.. your suffer the consequences... Im just tired and I planned to go to New Mexico, but nothing fell through... I dont have many american friends who know my situation to go with me and half gas (like a road trip thing) its not as easy as everyone thinks... You have to pay gas, food, show 2 proofs of residence...bank account, electricty bill, house address, etc...Not to mention that if you dont have a social.. ITS OK.. BUT you still need a tax id... I do have a tax id... but I cant take that much off work or Ill loose my job... and thats super expensive for me to spend all that money on because washington and new mexico are like 20-24 hrs away by car.

I just feel like Im gonna get my international ..get insured and drive safetly... hopefully by next yr the dream will pass and thats that. Excuse me for being so negative and a lil pissed off...

I was driving with my international licence and got pulled over like a week ago for speeding. I know I've shouldn't done this on the first place, but its too late i'm STUPID. I got a ticket for speeding, unlicensed driver and towing privileges. I got a court date for Nov. 5th. does anybody know if they can ask about my status? or is it going to be only financial penalty?? Please reply ASAP. thanks

Yes, please don't bring God into your silly shenanigan. We are all suffering due to our limited 'freedom' not just you okay? But in the end, we are all held accountable for choices we make. God has nothing to do with consequences of your or anyone's actions so don't try to make some nonsense correlations with your decisions that you are responsible for and God. If you truly believed in God, you wouldn't have posted something so blasphemous.

wow.. I did apologise for my upset driven post and I will say sorry again...
I do realize everyone is suffering, but I can rant and vent as much as the next person..actually I approve because a lot of people are so positive its sickening and they aren't relatable and helpful...I do understand you have to think positive and keep looking forward..I just had a moment and I apologise yet again..

Unfortunately we have to suffer for an act we didn't commit and people have to decide for themselves if they are willing to suffer the consequences of the whole drivers license thing... Thanks
