Not to mention that if god can have an influence on 2 white policemen in SC he should be able to whisper to 60 politicians in the Senate....or is that too much for god and his limit is oh, I don't know ....51?
Why the need to blame God for something that the government formulated? Or for the rapist raping a child? It doesn't really make sense to let the culprits get away now doesn't it? You'd rather I blame God than to blame the actual perpetrator of the crimes and unfairness? Now THAT is even more ridiculous.

Besides, I think God works in strange ways. Maybe he can whisper to 2 white policemen to let him go but doesn't feel the need to convince the politicians to pass Dream. Strange? Yes. Not very understandable? Likely. But then again, being legal in America isn't my whole life. There are better things to do than to dwell on the sadness of the racist and unfair immigration system the US government created. If the Westerners hadn't ruined the world with their imperialism, there wouldn't be a need to move here. That being said, blame the people who committed the crimes instead of giving them a free pass.

I agree! God works in so many different ways that we can't understand with our limited capabilities. Glad to know someone here has a faith BTW, my parents got a ticket today but at least we got free H1N1 vaccine

For the purpose of the thread, could we all just pretend God exists if we don't believe so?

Anyways I probably shouldn't have read this thread... kinda leaves me wanting to take my chances. lol

IM not trying to start a God exists vs God doesnt exist war here... but look... IM NOT DRIVING ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!! Im scared to death to drive.

I watched my dreams Fade away on those blue lights for the worst 15 minutes of my life.

Why do I say God was with me yesterday? I KNOW at least of 5 cases where young people like me got pulled over with no DL and they were taken downtown to be questioned.... and later... DEPORTED. Just like that. This is SC... Now, dont ask me why the hell these two guys didnt just ask me to get out of the car and call somebody to come pick it up.... There was something else in this Equation what was unseen, and according to my belief... GOD WAS RIGHT THERE WITH ME.

Yes I was Speeding. I admit it. I have never seen the F'ing "30 MPH" sign UNTIL THIS VERY MORNING when I passed by the same spot where I got pulled over (my friend drove me today)... and yea, the sign is there, I'd just never seen it. The cop wrote on my ticket 35/30... so It wont look horribly bad on my record, I guess.

Man, Im lucky as hell. Im scared but lucky and I learned a valuable lesson.. Dont DRIVE WITHOUT A DL!!!! please people, Listen to it because we might not be this lucky next time.

my whole life flashed in front of me, all my accomplishments, my diploma, my family, friends, my country, those fellow kids fighting to stay in this country (Jorge, Hertha, etc).... and I was thinking "now I have to go public and start my own campaign.......... now im back in my internship, safe and sound, had a talk with my family and they were just happy to see me back home yesterday, it was a sad yet happy moment because It could have been worse.... in fact, I should've slept in a f'ing cell last night. That's how good God was to me yesterday.

Now Ill be patient, not drive and wait for something to happen. maybe this was a sign for God that he wants me to stay in this country and finish my dreams as intended. You guys should do the same. DONT DRIVE PLS!!!

thanks for the encouraging words.
