Is it possible to work 8 hours a day and also go for a Bachelor degree? Also is it fair to pay $15,000, while others only pay $5k a year? (This are just examples)

Even though I can work and live here and also pay taxes, I'm not allowed to get FAFSA and I have to pay triple what others pay in college..That pisses me off.

It's hard, but for the most persistent and passionate people, it can be done. I work 40-45 hrs a wk, and study for about 3-4 hrs minimum a day. (im in a health science program =O) You also have your day to day priorities. Plus you have to enjoy life as well and go out. It's hard but if you weren't busy, would you really want to just sit on your ass at home? I don't save much since all the money i make pretty much goes to college expenses and my bills, but at least im saving a bit. I think it matters on what your priorities are, more work or more school.

what state are you in...some states provide In-State tuition which is different from fafsa.
Also that question you asked about working and studying...it doesn't really depend on that scenario. It depends on the person. If the person really wants to be successful and concentrates than anything is possible. U should ask yourself that question.

If you want it bad enough its possible. I am working 40-50 hours a week, plus i was taking 18 units and i did just fine. Just keep in mind that i did not have a life and that you have to sacrifice your weekends and everything else but it can be done.

I know of people that work 30-40 hours a week and are full time students, so yes, it is possible! It will certainly be hard, but you can do it!

As for the school tuition, can't you pay in-state tuition? I would call your school and see if they have any options for your kind of situation. Good luck!

It's very possible. I work 50+ hours a week and i'm 2 units shy of being a full time student. I don't like when people say they're working 40+ hours and are full time students, but when you ask them their grades, they say they're failing half of them. I'd rather be a part timer and get excellent grades, than be a full time with mediocre grades.
