I was brought by both of my parents on their tourist visa in 1987(which we ultimately overstayed), I was 2 at the time.

I think like most on this board, I went through the phase of being angry at them, but then I realized that they only did it with only the best of intentions.

I too have a SSN with "not valid for employment", I think it had to do with the time in which you applied for it. I believe when my parents applied for it, for themselves, my sister and I they still had legal status. Apparently they gave them out back then for tax purposes?

I was brought here illegally along w/my brother by my mother when we were only 7 and 4. We've now been here for 13+ yrs so now I'm 20 and my bro is 17. This whole thing just sucks!

P.S. Yall know what's funny everyone is speaking in English ever thought about that! That ought to show them senators!

we all share this common ground, and it's so amazing the diversity of personalities and potential and this hunger to contribute. we ARE Americans!
