why can we go to war in two weeks?, and then have the same people who got us in that mess go against health care reform and possibly immigration reform?

Shouldn't Obama just send everyone to shut up and do his will?.

Yet good things are so hard to accomplish such as a "Public Option" in health insurance and immigration reform.

We are in danger of terrorism, look bad internationally, and to top it off we have to listen to nay sayers all day pushing against our benefits.

I am so bummed. Isn't the government supposed to be for the people? How did we get to this mess? Am I going to be asked to fight too even if I don't want to, or else I will have to leave? I respect every soldier out there, but my beliefs are not "pro-war". (Refrain from hating me for this, I believe that more innocent people have died than real "Evil Doers".

I read that if immigration reform doesn't pass next year it will take another 3? Seriously?

I won't even ask you to reply, I just needed to let my thought heard maybe I can get some assurance that it is highly unlikely that we will be asked to blindly follow some nay sayers in the government if we are to stay here in the US.

If you want to be an American citizen, maybe you should learn to respect and appreciate soldiers instead of calling them apathetic and brainless.

Selfishness and ill mannered people seem to have a larger grip in US politics and law than it is convenient for us all.

We are in danger of terrorist acts, look awful internationally, and to top it off we have to listen to nay sayers all day pushing against our benefits.

you look like you really need some time away from the world of politics and all it's ironies. go out and look closely at your life and the good things you have.

But on the other hand I dont know how much better my life could be anywhere else cuz I now not much more... It sucks I just need documents so I can start being normal and stop being a second class citizen. but thanks for the notation. I will look at the beautiful things I have,

I cant stand people that feel sorry for themselves only cause they're undocumented, its really not that hard to live a succesfull live as a young adult while been illegal, by 25 i think i would've figured some shit out. there are millions upon millions of 25 year olds across this world living horrible inhumane lives and you are not, yeah being illegal def. requires extra planning for some things but dont ever think you're in a horrible situation or else that will be your reality. my sister 21 almost 22 is always struggling cause she thinks being illegal is this horrible problem, and it is but you gotta know you are one of the lucky people in this world not dying of hunger(as 2010 we have 1 billion + people hungry), not living in the middle of a war. sorry if it sounds a little harsh but until you realize how LUCKY you are , everything around you will change. i feel sometimes I've been pretty blessed for being a 19 illegal and not a citizen of a country that rapes and castrates women during political unrest. god (your higher power) loves people that are thankful and believe me it will makes things easier for you in this country.

It seems like me and melpw always agree with eachother, half way that is... Because 50 percent of that is bullshit. Live till your 25 and illegal to see how "great" "god" is gonna make you feel. Though I do agree that the OP ought to be very happy he ain't part of that 1 billion who are hungry right now, I would say that I also agree with the OP and melpw as a matter of fact, when they say that this country fucks over a lot of people around the world(let me not get into that though, not the right forums for this kinda discussion to be honest).

My point is, Yea crisjcesar, you ought to be happy your alive and kicking man. And please do give some time off the politics and nwo shit you be watching(cause I know you do) and just live in the illusion man, you just gotta let everything go and just embrace the fantasy and you wont feel shit. I myself honestly am getting out of here if CIR or the DREAM doesn't pass this year. You should think about that too.

And... melpw, I'm not gonna shit on whats working for you... but on the regards that the dude is 25 and you think its shameful for him to be hurting, honestly... go fuck yourself. Your 19 and you just now recently realized you can't do shit in this country without papers. What you don't realize yet is that your part of a modernized slave community. But you won't have to wait till your 25 to realize that just wait till your at your sisters age.

And not to argue with too many people at one giving time but.... prettyjolie, Im sorry to break this to you, but... most of our troops are young mindless kids. If you know something about the force, you know how a lot of the marines are recruited. Officers of the corp go on parking lots throughout the country and target young teenagers who "seem to have no bright future ahead of them"(thats a quote from one of the officers mind you) and then try to persuade them to sign a form that says they'll show up when they turn 18, with promises that they(the officers) know the kids will probably not live to see. And thats only a fraction of that whole issue, im not even gonna get into it.

ps. that's not to say there aren't great man in the force, I know a few. And that's not to say all of the force is brainless, just the kids that join are, obviously, and I'm assuming some older dumb asses too... but anyways that's it.

o duke always trying to be more intelligent than the rest when the opposite is true.
shameful is not in my vocabulary, I said he has to realize you can be doing 1000000 fun and awesome things in the many major cities that are semi undocumented friendly. He said he was almost 25 and felt like he had nothing to show for, thats why I was explaining to him , he can do anything if he sets his mind to it. 2nd of all stop assuming I just realized I cant do anything. at 19 I have 1000's of awesome accomplishments in my life thanks to not living in fear. and I plan all the time and work hard to keep on accomplishing things literally every month. when you hear of people in your same situation doing things you never imagined possible something clicks in your head and you go out and get what you deserve, that is almost the whole point of this.

1. If you meant it that way, then you should of said it that way. I know in writing people can read stuff with too much enthusiasm and get the wrong impression so I apologize, it happens to me too, sometimes people take it the wrong way. But again, that's how your first post seemed to me.

2. I'm not trying to sound "more intelligent" than anyone, that's just how I write when I'm being serious and I was merely putting in my 2cents.

3. Well.. I don't think I have a 3 but you cant do 1 and 2 and stop there hehe.... or can you? Alright, but seriously though, I do agree with you on the positive mentality. Whether we have papers or not, we ain't gonna feel good if we keep beating ourselves up. But I still don't think you can say

Dude shut the F@#* up. are you effin serious? you don't know crap about the arm forces. who are you to be talking crap about our troops? The recruiters are not forcing them to join, they don't forced them to sign. and for some of those troops, it runs in their blood. jolie and i can tell you more about those guys from experience. my husband graduated top from his school and hes going to Stanford next year for Electrical Engineering. Those guys are out there risking their life for us, making sure everyone in this country is safe and you have the nerve. dude you should be thankful!!
