Emergency Medicaid

has any one here applied for Emergency Medicaid? if so what most one do and have like paper work in order to get it? the reason why I'm asking this is that i have diabetes and my mom who is very cautious of me whats me to have some kind of back up if i was to become very ill. so yea has any applied for it and gotten it? any info would help.

I had, its purely basic information that you have to fill out. Stuff like, name address, etc. plus if you don't have a social you just leave it blank and your good. What i would recommend though is only get it once you are in the hospital, that sounds kind of stupid i know, but my attorney says that it affects your "status" i guess cause of the moral thing, its like taking money away and stuff. So only get it if you are really sick. I cancel mines for that very reason, although i never used it.

but is that possible to apply for it when im laying there in my death bed? jk lol i know i doesnt make sence. however would the hospital allow you to sign up when you get there with an emergency?

jaja you sound like man i don't want to be there dead lol... basically the emergency medicaid only covers your cost dude. For example you get shot, you go to the hospital, then their going to treat you right away, afterwards you can worry about the bill lol (well if you survive lol). You can apply for emergency medicaid at any time so yeah your good. Its like for citizens or people who have LPR they can get something called "Orsa" (not sure if its spelled correctly) that basically covers any expensive due to serious illness.
