So all in all, The whole damn gov't is full of s---.

i know i kinda contradicted myself, but i dont like the idea of blaming just ONE person for such mishaps.
On another note, CIR = dumpster behind the white house. We all need to face it. I can't stand the beating around the bush, I dont see any significance/importance in ALL the other bills (other than healthcare) they keep bs-ing about.

But at the same time, we ALL need to work to make the Dream Act a Stand-Alone bill, Its really not that difficult. And its by far the only part of an immigration bill in today's govt view that makes the MOST sense.

What beats me in the head is the fact that they're putting they're personal views first instead of what it could be worth to them, $$$$. Not only the initial fees, but If they open the doors of opportunity for me, i'll pay them as many tax dollars as they humanly want from me. Seriously.
That's true, but on my opinion the reason why nothing is being done, is because (like you said) there are more important things to think about that impacts Americans directly.

I agree that the government will greatly benefit from our tax money. However, they are more concerned about the economy and health reform.

They would have to think about (this is just an example):
-providing financial assistance=ie. fafsa/ government funds
-jobs with an already high unemployment rate-> there will be double the competition to find jobs-internships for the new legal residence
