Hey guys,

Its been awhile since Ive posted on here, but I needed help with something. I know someone who is a dreamer they need to fly to the west coast for something important, we're on the east so the train is out of the question (well it would take almost three days of connecting trains). My friend has an expired DL and Passport. Once again they're a dreamer. I know this topic has been discussed before, but i wanted to know for sure.

Do you guys recommend trying to fly, is it safe? Has anyone flown recently? Thanks.

It is NEVER safe to fly for people in this situation. The risk is way too high. I know people who have flown recently (this year) and they got away unscathed, but really they're just taking too much of a risk.

don't show your expired license, I did and it was such a bad idea even though it was only expired for a couple of months and I was like 19. If you do good luck and just show your passport and act cool. That's what I would do. Dress up like a business man or something too.

But recently as part of the program the professor is sending them to the west coast to do research, everyone in their group has accepted and she's the only one yet to cause of our situation and we are located in the northeast, so the train is out of the question (well it would take almost three days of connecting trains). How long ago did it expire? TSA will accept licenses up to one year of their expiration date.
