I'm emailing him now and thanking him. You should too! --> http://durbin.senate.gov/contact.cfm After all, Obama did mention that the emails were voices being heard in his speech last night about HCR. Immigration shouldn't be any different... Make calls/ emails/ ect!!!!

He's 'claimed' this several times in the past:

A) He will fight for DA and CIR even if it's the last thing he does politically. The gist is he doesn't want to be done politically; therefore what he is really saying is that since he's been fighting for the Dream Act for a decade, we can count on him to claim his support for another 10 years. Oh, joy, I'm sure all of you who believe everything he says are really looking forward to being undocumented another decade.

B) This is the same person who told newspapers just 2 weeks ago, that he really couldn't see immigration reform happening this year; especially when no Republican can help him do HIS job.

I don't doubt that he is a nice person. But he's a nice person who doesn't mean what he says. Sound familiar?

Hey! You got me excited for a minute.

And to dtrt09... shut yo face. Things take time. At least we now have a president who believes in our cause. Chill out.

Politicians.

But at least it's nice to know he's been bold enough to make that statement... I mean, he cannot possibly believe there won't be a couple hundred thousand people who will hold him to it...
