Just got UVISA Approved

Well I just got my employement authorization card. Our lawyer just gave it to us 2 days ago. Not as great feeling as i thought it was going to be. I cant be happy knowing there are people suffering at DAP.

My mother was abused by many man. One of them being the father of my brothers and sisters. After a brutal beating she filed a police report back in '98 and then another incident in '03. She has suffered a great deal of sexual abuse but the authorities only documented the domestic violence. That was enough to qualify for the U-VISA. 2 years ago my grandma fixed her status under VAWA which is similar To U-VISA. She fowarded us her lawyers and 2 years later we fixed our status( for
Im under my moms U-Visa, Our lawyers are community lawyers and did not charge us a penny. If you guys are qualify for the UVISA and are located in the bay area

I am so sorry for what your family has gone through and know the aftermath is left not only with the victim but everyone surrounding- I hope this can shed some light and redeem a bad situation.

Very bad situation & sorry to hear that it had happened,but every dark cloud has its silver lining.I am very happy for you toobewelcomed & that the situation also had its silver lining despite the past incidents & that you were also able to benefit derivatively.Also don't travel at all until you get US residency on the 3rd year.
