As you all in AZ may already know...the worst anti-immigrant law just passed in senate today in AZ. I feel like its just a ticking clock for worst things to come here in AZ. Im tired of all this stress. Sooo Im just gonna start getting ready to take off this summer but it would suck to do it by myself. Anyone else in AZ thats up for the adventure, message me.

Im not sure which state Ill be heading towards yet, I have to do some more research, any suggestions or tips are more than welcomed.

Thank you!!!
Juls

California is never a bad option. Get out of the south, before you settle you should get a DL from either NM or Wash.

Thank-you Kario96, that definately sounds like a good idea. Yeah, I know for sure tuition is cheaper in California than in Arizona. Is it possible to find a job there also? Thats a priority.

With the whole E-verify thing a lot of businesses are cracking down, but there are a lot of us here and many people are willing to help. You just have to be persistent. There are also several schools here. As far as qualifying for in state tuition under what we call AB540, I am not sure you would qualify. But this is a good opportunity (if you're really planning on doing this) to have an adventure and to try something different.

It's never easy to move man, even if its from a borough to another one thats right next to it. Best thing I can say is... look for the haven states or should I say haven towns; South Cali/NYC/Chicago/Southern Connecticut cities.... Those are all places where I can safely say that people in our situation could live a safe life without too much worry of ICE. But its up to you to decide what town fits you best. Go on Craigslist.com and check housing prices. Do a little google research, try to find other undocumented people in that state you decided to take the "adventure" to and ask questions. I mean obviously this website should be the starting ground for that, but do a thorough research.

I'd also like to tell anyone in Arizona that NYC(New York City) is a very good place for us. There's jobs here and housing is affordable and you will never need a car to get around(due to the largest metro system in America). So if your not too afraid to try something new(big city), travel east to NY, but dont mistake NY State with NY City, NY State is just as bad as the rest of the states out there, NY City is the big metropolis where everyone lives and don't care about each other's legal status.

Thanks to everyone thats sending me information. You guys are extremely helpful. Im gonna focus on getting a drivers license first. A step at a time. As soon as this college semester is over, Im planning on doing that, that way it'll be less scary to travel for a start.

Thanks Dukem 88, yeah going to New York City would be like a dream come true for me. I had a friend go over last December, straight from AZ and he made it.
Im definitely researching all this extremely well first.
