Get informed before you post stuff, there are two standalone bill for the DREAM act currently in congress:

H.R 1752 in the HOUSE
S. 729 in the SENATE

How long do you guys think it'll take before they start pushing for this and it gets a vote? This fall? sooner? ...later?

I thought this was suppose to happen last year

The DREAM Act is already a bill; that is what they are cosponsoring. There is no bill for CIR, therefore only imaginary co-sponsors (except for the CIR ASAP bill in the house, which by the way has gotten one more cosponsor; however, this bill has very little chance of making it.)

If congress wanted, they could vote on DREAM act, but they don't want to have it alone because then they feel nothing will be done on a much greater scale.

So with 4 more co-sponsors they can introduce it? It has to be done before these people get replaced. Excuse me I have to go make some calls and do some research.
