I'm applying to college in orange county as an AB540 student, my college asked me to print the AB540 form out, fill it out and bring it to the admissions office, what other paperwork were you guys asked for? I have my transcripts from highschool, but with bad grades, and I recently got my G.E.D in huntington beach, do you think I will be accepted? I am very worried I won't be. Has anyone else applied as an AB540? What was it like? Any tips appreciated, Thanks guys!
I went to high school in cali for 3 and 1/2 years. for college, i just went to admissions, gave them my hs transcripts, and told them i'm an ab540 student. got accepted on the spot but told that i had to stop by the registrar's office every semester to get a waiver to pay a a ca resident and promise to try to change my status. i did that for a few semesters until a new employee for ab540 students was hired and she told she would give the waiver automatically every semester!
