Dreamers are meeting up soon [near Pasadena, CA]...

Hey everyone, in case you didnt see my other thread; I am setting up a meetup for the dreamers around pasadena CA area in the coming week or 2. If you want to be part of it PM me, with your available time and city you can meet. Its something simple like a coffee shop, restaurant, picnic type.

Heres the idea:

I want to have some of us meet up for

- socialize, open up, share experiences we cant share with our regular "non dreamer" friends
- share how we have overcome obstacles like
- obtaining a job, going to school, dealing with relationships, going to a bar, driving without a license

This will allow us to bond strongly with each other by seeing face to face. Also this will allow us to create networking for possible future legalization, eg. lawyer recommendation, job connections, volunteer opportunity, etc.

The point is also to get off our butts to get our minds off of this horrible situation and put our guards down with others like ourselves.

Possible future hang outs can be at places where we would feel comfortable with other dreamers like bars, or places where we would have to show our passports or matriculas.

I understand that some of us are not the "activist" "protesting" type but at least you can go out and meet for fun.

Thats nice and all, but no one here lives in Virginia. seems like everyone lives in california and in the southwest.
