Hi guys,

I am in the process of applying to pharmacy school. I have a question regarding the rotations, the last year of pharmacy school. I know that you need to pass a background check to be able to attend the rotations. For that, you need a SSN. So if I put in place of the SSN t my tax id number, will I pass the background check.

Most places don't do a background check. Although not having proper ID/SS card will raise red flags. It all depends on the employer to be quite frank.

Yeah, I know it depends on the employer. It's a chain retail store so I'm pretty nervous. I don't even know what I would do if I was fired due to that. It would be so embarrassing. So I'd just like to get some perspective from people who have gone through that, if there's anyone on this forum that has straight up been told that their documents don't match?

They will just tell you the job is no longer available, it is actually more common than you'd expect. No one is going to report you.
