My lawyer sent me this email. If you want me to give you her number so you can get on the list or anything. Feel free to let me know.

INFORMACION IMPORTANTE

Estimado Cliente,

Well let's see, the options here. On one hand, you can pay $50 to be notified of the requirements needed if Dream ever passes, or you can go online, watch the news, read the newspaper, or visit one of many community organizations that will gladly do the same and perhaps even more for free.

Lawyers.....I tell you, it's the devil's chosen profession.

Maybe she has good intentions, but it does sound a little shady to me. For someone who doesn't have constant media access and the time to follow every political development, I guess it makes sense.

There's a some good ones, but immigration lawyers (or people that claim to be) can be extremely exploitative and predatory. Always be cautious, unless you have a good track record with them.

And "6 months??" Where did they get that figure?

If I didn't trust her I wouldn't even be putting it on here. Like I said in another thread, shes done papers for my aunt, her kids, my brothers, and now once the visa bulletin gets to april 01, she'll be doing my parents and me.

Ok... I was referring to people who've had limited to no experience with lawyers, obviously you have...

I think 50 dollars is way too overpriced...
