Hey guys,

Well the thing is that I (am)was planning go to a community college, and I could barely make it to pay the tuition. I just got a car that I'll definitely need for me to go there, and some other money issues. Well, I don't know how well my decision would be if I were to not go to school for this fall semester and work to save money and then attend school.

I am somewhat unsure as I've heard many people saying that if you take a gap time, it is really hard go back.

What do you guys think? What is your advice? And have you even "skipped" a semester or anything like that?

Thank you,
Irvinsote

Its hard to go back after gap time only if you're retarded. I ve gone back after 5 years. Worked to save for college unlike some other people. Rocking 3.5 gpa for pre-engineering.

Write down your top 5 priorities, then write down the reason why they are your top 5, keep this paper in your pocket everyday of your life.

A gap is not that big of a problem as long as you are responsible. Remember why you are working when you get your paycheck (for school/future) to prevent you on blowing it on stupid crap.

I was wondering this too. I just graduated high school and I know that if I take time off I'll definately go back, but does taking time off influence whether or not a school will accept you?

no it won't affect a damn thing, its all about determination, i went to college for a year, then skipped a whole semester because of personal reasons and then finally went back last semester... and ready for this next one, if you are really determined, you will be able to just jump right back into school mode.
