So the dream act gives 6 years for people to get their education or join military. But for people who already have their degree, can they apply for green card right after it's passed? I am a little confused here.

I was wondering about this too since I already have 2 associates degrees. From what I've read, we still need to show 6 years of "good moral character" so that means we would have to be on conditional status for that long.

I could be wrong though, so correct me if you have a better understanding.

No, you still have to wait six years in order to become a permanent resident.

6 years to become permanent residents? I thought those years can count to apply for citizenship? Does someone has clear 411 on this? I'm a bit confused.

I remember we brought this issue up some years ago, I think back in 06, and somebody said we will be able to apply for permanent residence once you have completed school years of school (or Military)

No, you already got your associates so you'd just have to complete the 6 years of good moral character under conditional status.

I have a BS in Psychology. The only thing that keeps me up at night is the thought that the age limit will be 25 or something like that. I am 26 and I am so scared I aged out. I can behave for 6 years.
