Does anyone know if students whose residency statuses are reevaluated for tuition purposes will receive refunds? I know that students whose statuses are reevaluated for instate tuition purposes will receive reimbursement should they at a later time (while still attending the school) switch into another category. However, would a private university whose base costs are the same for international students and US residents before financial aid retroactively calculate the financial aid that a student in our situation would have received and reimburse it should we get our statuses adjusted?

i was paying out of state tuition at my university before i discovered ab-540. after i filled out all the paper work, i was able to apply for a refund for the past semesters and pay in-state tuition for the remaining semesters.

Yeah, I know that going from out-of-state to in-state gives refunds. Do you guys think going from international student to domestic student will have any impact on tuition refunds?
