Mexico City is the place to be in Mexico you don't have to worry about cartels there. Best schools and best jobs are available there also. Monterrey is also another city where the quality of life is high

Hehehehe That's what I'm talking about!!!! I told this to a cousin of mine and he told me "You must hate America" I was like what? Truth is I love America and Americans, I just hate American Politics. I love it that someone has said this, and I thank you! I'm currently working so that I can finish my Kinesiology degree! I have 2 more years but i have the money to pay for everything now woo hoo!!! by the time I'm done if nothing has changed. I will pack my bags and pull out my middle finger towards the Republicans and all the politicians that sold us fake hope, and get the hell out of here I'm sure a Physical therapist can be of use anywhere where hehe. Seriously this is the same type of thinking we all have to put into work. Of course we might have to go back to our countries where we don't know anything, but we do have something most people don't have in our countries; we would have an American degree and we would know English (for those who aren't from English speaking countries) Believe me there are so many other options. One of my friends graduated from Georgia Tech and he's moving to Dubai!!!! He's one smart guy and since he is now an Engineer he's got a great future! In reality If the US is stupid enough to let us go then to hell with it. As soon as we graduate we don't need the US!!! Work an extra semester for flight tickets and am pretty sure you can get a passport from Washington DC. I'm Mexican I know I'm not desired in the US or Canada, but we are pretty rare in other countries lol. I'm thinking New Zealand would be a nice place to go. I hope something happens before I graduate, but I'm not going to wait for it to happen. Best of wishes to all of you!

I agree with dreamact1982 because he is right. However, what about those dreamers that are stuck in a limbo and can't continue their studies. I know it would be a bad idea to return "home" with nothing. I for once would love to live in Europe. Unfortunately, I was born in Mexico. I'm not going to diss Mexico anymore because I don't know it. Yet, everyone around me and the media are constantly telling me how awful it is and that I'm going to get murdered lol

Everyone just has to create a life for themselves. What I am living right now is now life because I am doing nothing just waiting around
I know how you feel, for the past year and a half i have been working my ass off to get enough money for school. All I can tell you is this work! The feeling of not getting anywhere doesn't go away, but if you try your hardest you will be able to get somewhere. Not as fast as others believe me, but you will get there. As for the Mexico part, "el leon no es como lo pintan" There's crap everywhere; go to a bad neighborhood and you'll find shitty things too. Mexico has a lot of nice things as well, but you have to be careful. I for one If nothing changes i will go back so that i can go somewhere else. I'm not planning on staying in Mex bc i don't want to become part of the system. Think of it as this, you might be able to get a car, a gf/bf, and a job, but the politics there is what makes me hate the idea of going back, but i love my Mexican People and the country as well. I love it that there are pyramids, and so many other native Mexican Buildings, I love it that there are two coasts and that people are cheerful; even if they have to live with difficult times. I love DF because el monstruo is an amazing city. I love it that foreigners come to Mexico and fall in love with it. So love your country, if you are scared of it for whatever other people and the media tell you than you really don't have a good reason to diss Mexico.

If opposition saw this thread, god help you. Who wants to support DREAM when its followers are saying "TEE HEE, let's take our education that we wanted for free here and then take it oustide the country..!" like a bunch of amoral mercenaries... which is all you are, if you support that. Good riddance to bad rubbish!

You're so right.. lets take our "free" education and use it for under the table jobs.

Higher education isn't free unless you get a private scholarship. And if you look at the comments posted on web articles regarding the DA, you will see with your very own eyes that many nativists argue against granting LPR status and in favor of deportation so that we "can go back and improve our countries with our education". Obviously they don't want a return on their investment...

Poster is right you dont want your most productive years of your life pass by.

If you have opportunity to move to New Zealand or Australia?!..I heard Australia is unbelievable country..Recent survey came out last week..best places to live in the world, have a look at that you will get an idea
