I don't know what I need to present. Any paperwork I need to bring to the notary?

just go any notary especially hispanic ones they know about it you mightneed an ID but I don't think i was asked for that either, good luck

do bring the affidavit though

i dont know how stuff is done in texas but in ny i just i went to a notary with the affidavit and my hs id, and everything was fine

I'm from Texas. One of my high school counselors was a notary. I gave her the affidavit and my HS ID and that was that.
