ITIN Question

There are basically two ways you can apply for an itin:
1. Attached to your 1040 individual return: Mail a W7 application with a notarized copy of your proof of identity and your return.
so it will be your 1040 + W7 application+ a notarized copy of your proof of identity

2. W7 and a notarized copy of your proof of identity

On the social security # sections, go ahead and write in Apply ITIN or something along those lines and make sure your passport is notarized with the seal signature.
