*Make all those big company owners bring back those companies, this way they can be worked by American people in the U.S. This will create jobs and increase trading with other nations instead of giving them jobs.
*Make the government help businesses and home owners to intergrate sun light absorbing grids to their homes and businesses, this will ease them from the costs of the big light bill. I know it will cost the government billions, but it will pay it's self in less than 2 years.
*Only use oil for the army and big motors that need the extra power. Cars and motorcycles can run on electricity, the light grids will also charge cars for free, and since our atmostphere is getting weaker, it's letting more light energy go through. Some supersmart students out of a big college here in the U.S have created an 800 horsepower electric racing car. Just sell it for a reasonable price because companies tend sell new technology for a real high price.

Those are just a few ideas that are roaming in my head right now, if I become a fulltime thinker for this country I can come up with many, many more inovations and ideas that will help bring this nation to the nation of dreams.

The government wants to know what will you, the illigal imigrant student who would qualify for the dream act, do if you were granted legal residency. So if you have any ideas that will help this country that you want to be a part of, please post them, because politicians and people who care are reading this.

*it might create more jobs but will drive prices for goods up, less consumers purchasing products, massive layoffs, then back to out resourcing overseas. .......... what a waste of time, just let them stay there.

*we're in 14 trillion in dept, your idea suggest adding another 10 trillion to it

*hybrid or electric cars cost just about the same as other regular cars, but did you know how much it costs to repair it? 3 times more then regular cars. why? because only 1/10 mechanics know how to repair it in the first place

*the government doesn't give a damn, if anything they'll give us status so we'll pay taxes

Thats were the new jobs are going to be created, don't you get it? Prices are high because of the lack of service provided, that's what keeps the prices up. As more mechanics are trained and deployed to that service provided, the prices by the law of the free market, will have to come down. The experienced workers can now upgrade their knowledge and become those espcialists needed, while the jobs left are to be fullfilled by new employees at the bottom of the chain.

Same with the factories, bringing them back will only create jobs, the prices might go up a dollar or two, but more money is going to be earned my more people and that will only make the economy bigger. The profits are going to come in from the exports rather than the money saved in the earnings of the american people.

Lol, what?! Your idea has been tried many times before, in Japan for example, and their economy is in shambles now. You should never try to have a nationalist economy, it's a ridiculous idea. Prices are high because of lack of service? What? The service sector is tiny in comparison to any industrial complex. And using mechanics is a ridiculous example to begin with; obviously you are not going to send your car oversees to get it fixed, and that is the only cause for high rates. You are at their mercy, just like you are at the mercy of pharmaceutical companies even though the cost of productions of the medicine is tiny in comparison to the revenue.

Every other sector has figured it out, and by outsourcing most of the production, is able to keep the cost down for the consumers. Making things in the US and exporting it? How the hell are you going to export something that costs more than something made in India or China, and most of the time is probably an inferior product too? This will just create a surplus of useless products that no one wants to buy at a higher price. Not only that but it will also drive the value of the dollar down, since the higher costs of production and higher salaries will drive the prices way up and will just further sink the economy.

I think that we should be in touch with our communities and using this site as a resource to advertise our actions. Posting here how we would be great to America is useless.

Don't stop thinking of new innovations! Steam power was used in childrens toys in ancient Greece (~100 AD), but it took *many* centuries before we tapped it's value for the Industrial Revolution (~1780 AD). There are things all around us to improve our life. Look at Curitiba, Brasil if you have time. Really good examples in their city design, parks, and transportation.
