I am fifteen years old living in Florida. I was brought here from Russia when I was just 5 in search for a better life, though that isn't happening. I graduate in less then three years from high school and what am I suppose to do afterward? Sit on my lazy bum all day? I am in all AP and Honors classes with over a 4.0 GPA and want to go to College and major in some sort of Environmental Sciences. I am quite smart as you can tell but my future is goin' down the drain faster than I can stop it. They need to do SOMETHING fast and pass the Dream Act... before I, and many others, lose all our dreams.
You're worrying about it too early man, don't let the nightmare have an early start. I'm a senior in high school, it just sucks I can't get my permit to the drive like all my friends. You're still still young and I'm really hopeful something will happen before you even graduate. So keep those grades up, study hard!
keep up the good work, look at you. how many of those people that are here legally care about school even when they have everything to succeed... just keep going and don't stop! something will happend soon just stay postive and pray.. we all need to pray and dont give up!
