Ok, So Things Are Becoming More Of A Reality Than We Couldve Imagined.. But What Happens If The Dream Act Passes? I Don't Even Think Anyone Here Might Know The Real Answer, But If Anyone Might Have A Speculation.. Like What Documents Will We Have To Proove That We Are Who We Are? I Mean Seriously We Are Undocumented..but What Will The Government Need To Grant Us Our Amnesty?
I Ask This B/c I Don't Have Proof That I Came Here At All.. I Mean Not Even A Passport.. So Will They Need Those Types Of Proofs?

Proof of identity:
Passport, id card (not sure if school one will work, hell my uncle managed to get under 245i with an expired BJ's membership card), drivers licence, birth certificate, high school year book w/ picture (hell, it works in washington)
Proof of presence in the states:
Stamp in passport with date arrived, school record (pernament record from hs will most likely work), hospital record
and a high school diploma

The question we should be asking is when will the Defense Authorization Bill go into voting and when after that can we apply for the Dream Act application?

Most people don't have passports and driver license.

I think it will not be late to think about what documents we need after we see the DREAM Act pass the Senate. Once it becomes a law, we can discuss them. If you have lived in the United States for more than five years, you should have some sort of proof of residency. For now, let's focus on what we can do to make it happen. Our lives hinge on a few swinging votes in the Senate.

We can guess, but we won't know until the it actually passes. I think all this "do I qualify", "what do I need" threads are too much, and annoying. Especially for a piece of legislation that is very straight forward in language. Lets focus on those questions when it does pass.

Let's just wait. I get annoyed too when people ask these questions especially at a crucial time like right now. Let's worry about getting it passed FIRST!
