Theres is always a way around many things, it is called giving false statements on applications and/or providing false or someone else's documentation. I've heard of cases of people joining the armed forces of the United States while being illegal, I don't specifically recall the branches of the military each respectively joined, but I do remember a case about a girl who joined the Air Force while being illegal, I too clearly remember the case of Oscar Ortiz a Border Patrol agent that was really born in Tijuana, Mexico and used someone else's Birth Certificate to join the Border Patrol, and had previously joined the US Navy, with the same document. So that's one way to do it, the other way to join the military while being illegal is that law I wrote about that President Bush signed some years ago, allowing illegal aliens to join during wartime.

I don't think I would try lying to get into the army. Lying about citizenship is a permanent ban under current law. Moreover, I know somebody that went down to join the navy to try to get papers and they were told they could not enlist if they were undocumented.

I actually tried to get into the military, but was denied because of my status. the funny thing is they were trying to recruit me because I scored so high on the ASVAB. I even tried the Navy with no luck. with that said i would not lie about my status. especially with the government.

I went to the recruiter office and show them my work permit and was denied; was told I need a fucking greencard.

But undocumented people joining the military is something that was possible back in the old days, not with all recruiters though, but it did happen.
