I believe that we shouldn't focus on getting Spanish media involved in this anymore, since many people in our situation watch it as well, so there isn't much help even though they (we) are pro-legalization. We need to get the English speaking media's attention, since they are the ones who are always bitching and making up stereotypes and assumptions of other ethnic groups.

^I agree with you in contacting the English speaking media and getting their attention, what I really want to get done by contacting Piolin is to have him help us get more people to call congress, not to educate the Spanish speaking public about DREAM.

why would contacting that guy be a bad idea? you know, most hispanics that can vote really dont give a shit about this sort of stuff, it would REALLY help to make them more aware and concious about this stuff too, as a matter of fact, i havent met a lot of hispanics here who care about it, but ive actually met a few who are against any type of illegal immigration (even if thats how their parents got here in the first place) yea english media would help but theres honestly not alot of people willing out there or who wont pair u up with some psycho like the terrorist babies crazy lady on anderson cooper a couple weeks ago, running i think for texas gop? i kinda think we gotta galvanize support within our communities, its like doing the montgomery bus sit ins but trying to get white people to support it instead of your own people first
