I know a guy that got his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. After graduating, coming to the realization that he was illegal, he began to drink alcohol- a lot. The guy did that for three months. One night he decide to go against the freeway route, sure enough he crashed to a coming vehicle. the driver of the comming vehicle died, but he survived with only a fracture. Well the guy spent 2 years in prison and was deported. The guy was like what will i do in Mexico? well I have this, which was his degree in mechanical engineering. The guy is way beyond fine, he's living it up; got a nice contract with a company and is doing great. He finally felt what it was like to be free. Dont get Mexico wrong, there are plenty of American companies in mexico that will hire you in a second. Especially if your bilingual.

I used to think that no one could succeed in my beloved Mexico, unless you were born into a rich family, but guess what I was wrong, there's a lot of people that have succeeded in Mexico, many entrepeneurs, a Mexican guy was once the richest man in the world not too long ago, Mr. Carlos Slim Helu. Of course it is more than 100 times harder to succeed in Mexico than here, so, guess what I'm staying, I have already waited for DREAM for 9 years, so I can still wait some more.

I'm actually waiting this week out and then buying my flight ticket home if the vote doesn't pass. If the dream act doesn't pass this year, it can only get harder after more republicans get voted in. I want to have my college education and I'm not willing to throw my life away just waiting. I'll be much better off back home (in uruguay)

ILFE IS AWHT YOU AMKE IT, and I don't plan more than 1 year ahead anymore because circumstances will f*ckn' change, someway or another, before you get there. In the meantime, leaving is not within this year's picture for me.

Whoa Carlos Slim( he's full Lebanese, but born in Mexico) definately went up. Last time I saw he was third now he's first.
For me it depends on what happens this week. If nothing I'm really gonna have to consider going back to Mexico. It won't be easy but living like this isn't easy either.( By the way does anyone know about enterance exams at UNAM or any mexican schools--from what I can see their like a bunch of AP multiple choice questions from different subjects put together, but in spanish. I'm not getting ahead of myself and planning for it, but I'm just curious that it seems a little more difficult than I initially thought..I thought it would be somewhat like the SAT. ) Then again that's what I said a four months ago when I graduated HS.
