What did you guys think about it?

What did his speech mean to you and did you feel he was being sincere?

Senator Durbin is gods gift to dreamers.

That speech was made with 100% sincerity.

I've always trusted Senator Durbin. I think he truly cares about us. And I tend to be skeptical about everything and everyone. Just part of the paranoia that comes with our territory, I guess. Someone on here has a great quote by Senator Durbin as their signature that seems to sum it up. I'm paraphrasing here, and this is from memory but it said something along the lines of the Dream Act being an idea whose time will come because it is an idea based on justice.. or was it fairness? Regardless he seems sincere, plus I love how sometimes when he does speeches on the Senate floor, he pops out with a blow up picture of a Dreamie. It makes me smile.

I did the same and I also called Reid's Office. I know a lot of people believe that Reid brought DA up b/c of the mid-term elections ,but i believe that Reid is also sincere abt helping us.

I feel like he and Reid really tried their hardest, We didn't like the outcome so we (including myself) tried to blame the only people who truly tried to help us. I respect Durbin and Reid for all that they are doing and I hope they keep going until the dream is realized.
