Been stalking the forums for awhile reading posts and such and realized I hadn't introduced myself here. I'm 22 years old, South Korean, currently working part time while trying to keep up in studies so that I'm not completely lost when/if I ever go back to school. I attempted to switch to an F1 visa to attempt to apply to college but was denied, then informed my visa was completely revoked and I had to leave within 180 days. Apparently if you try to change visa status and is rejected, you're original visa is expired right then and there? Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot.

Been pretty much been stuck in the ditch for about 3 years, waiting to see if the Dream Act would come through. Originally stuck around because of the 2007 attempt to pass DA and assumed they would try again soon. Hopefully they'll be passing it this year or guess its back to Korea with me. Great to meet you guys and I'll say what I usually say before going to sleep:

"God, please let the Dream Act pass before I go Charles Whitman on congress."

Hello. Can you speak Korean? This is out of topic but I recently got interested in k-pop and k-dramas. I am trying to teach myself the Korean language, but it's hard because I don't know If I am saying the words right or not. I hope the Dream Act passes soon because one of my dreams is to study abroad in Korea.
