this is what i am doing too. i am planning to go to Seattle, WA at the end of Dec. but i am really afraid to take a plane. so my friend said he is going to drive me down there
(From CA to OR then WA). i have to pay for 1200USD for the writing and actual road test. and they have actual address and i need some documentations like foreign passport, birth cert. school transcript. and they will provide me a car for test.

If you are on a connection flight don't worry about it, you don't get researched and stuff. You'll land in phoenix and you'll just walk to the next gate, unless a random officer there you should be fine. I went with my mother over the summer so she would renew her license and so I could get my permit (going back this December to get my actual license, only need to have your permit 4 months and we have a friend who has a car with insurance I can use.) Except we went from NC to Michigan to Washington. Then nonstop from Washington to NC.

Oh and you won't get your license right away in Washington so make sure you bring some other form of ID with you. We brought our passports so we wouldn't be questioned about having those stupid paper temporary ids.

Best of luck!

If not you should get those stuff ready, there's threads on this site that has those details.

And I'll definitely let you know how it went if I come back safely from changing plane in Arizona(Hopefully) That state really scares me. But I'm pretty sure other states are pretty safe to change plane if you're thinking of going.
who did you pay off? I mean do you know these people? it sounds like a sweet deal but you guys have to be careful with shit like that, know who your dealing with before you make bold moves like that, but in milmil's case Im guessing you do know these people?
